Cal State San Bernardino's Aaron Rice Named Wilson CCAA Baseball Player of the Week
April 11, 2005 - CAL STATE SAN BERNARDINO first baseman Aaron Rice has been named the Wilson California Collegiate Athletic Association Baseball Player of the Week for the week of April 4-10.
Rice, a senior from Fontana, led the Coyotes to a four-game CCAA series sweep of Cal State L.A. last week (Apr. 7-9).
He hit .642 (9 for 14) with a double, 2 home runs, 3 runs scored and 5 runs batted in. Defensively, Rice had 40 putouts and 1 assist in as many chances as CSUSB improved to 19-11 overall and 16-9 in CCAA play.
